THE LEARNING JOURNAL / YOUR FEEDBACK
Consulting Is Expensive,
but I Have a Cheaper Solution
Four ideas. Practical help. Tell me what you would actually use.
Choose your support ↓Sometimes you need a consultant working alongside your team. Sometimes you need a good example, a clear answer, or one hour to work through a problem.
If you’re running a business, building a quality system, or preparing for an audit, you may not need a full consulting engagement every time you need help. You need support that fits the task and your budget.
That’s the idea behind a more affordable approach I want your feedback on. What if you could choose the specific help you need, when you need it?
Here are four options. Tell me which one you would actually use.
OPTION 01
Documents with examples you can customize
Would it be easier to purchase a document package and make it your own?
Think templates with completed examples and straightforward instructions. A process document, internal audit planning tool, or corrective action worksheet could give you a starting point instead of a blank page.
The goal is to help you understand what belongs in the document and adapt it to how your business really works. You still own the process, but you have something useful to work from.
Which document would save you the most time?
I’d choose option 1 — share why by email ↗OPTION 02
One hour of focused advice
Maybe you’ve already done the work and just need help getting unstuck.
Would you pay for one hour of a consultant’s time to ask questions, review a specific issue, or decide what to tackle next?
You could bring a clear question and use the session to work toward a practical next step. If the issue needs more attention, we can identify that rather than rush through it.
What would make that hour valuable to you: answers, feedback, or a prioritized action list?
I’d choose option 2 — share why by email ↗OPTION 03
Small group training
Would you rather learn with other business owners or quality professionals?
A focused session could cover internal auditing, corrective action, or how quality-system requirements connect to everyday work, with practical examples and time for questions.
This option could suit teams that want to build their own skills before deciding whether they need additional support.
Would you choose a live workshop, a recorded lesson, or a live session with a recording to revisit?
I’d choose option 3 — share why by email ↗OPTION 04
Pre audit readiness support
If an audit is coming up, would a readiness checklist or a guided review help you organize your priorities?
The focus would be understanding what’s in place, spotting gaps, and deciding where to put your effort next.
Any support would stay separate from my certification-audit responsibilities, and no service would guarantee certification.
Would you prefer to work through a checklist yourself or receive feedback through a guided review?
I’d choose option 4 — share why by email ↗Help me choose what comes first
These are proposed offers, and your feedback will help shape the scope and pricing before anything is finalized.
Comment with your first choice:
1 — Templates and completed examples
